Ten years later, after seeing the brutal murder of her older sister, Jenny Treylor leaves his hometown in North Carolina, is a student at the University of New York. Remains traumatized by the death of her sister and fight with agoraphobia, Jenny tries to cope with the depressing town and clarify the new life. When the consultant organizing the game (Welcome Week scavenger hunt), Jenny is forced to join. But as far as deciphering the mysterious SMS - hints that carry them through darker and increasingly remote parts of the city - she and her new friends become appallingly clear how high the stakes.
