Hank Grotowski, a staunch racist, performing death sentences in the local jail, hates his son, and did not like his father. Letishiya Musgrove, a black waitress, does not like her husband, waiting in a prison sentence of death, and disgusted by his son. Fate will play with Hank and Letishiey bad joke: a black woman fall in love with a racist, a man whom he personally fried in the electric chair. Love like nobody had never liked.
